The Social Rooster Coordinates First Lady's First Collaboration with an Influencer and Reaches Millions

The Social Roster team is beyond happy to share that it secured a first-of-kind collaboration for one of its talents, Barbara Camila who has 2.7M followers, with the First Lady of the United States (FLOTUS). Barbara Camila hence becomes the first influencer to have this type of conversation/collaboration with the First Lady, Dr. Jill Bidden which reached millions through specific audience targeting.Through Barbara Camila’s social platforms, we were able to:

• Reach more than 3M people • Generate trust – we humanized the agency • Increased the White House Instagram and FB social media page followers • Raised awareness about issues the public needs to know about as an objective of the collaboration

Barbara Camila joined FLOTUS on her trip to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month in Chicago. She first waited to greet her on the tarmac followed by documenting the experience in the motorcade and ending in a one-on-one conversation at the National Museum of Mexican Art.

The collaboration was a huge success and the metrics, besides reaching thousands of people across multiple platform through a specifically targeted effort, show us that a feeling of trust was generated among Barbara Camila followers. From the social media comments and reactions, people felt heard, connected, and included. A sentiment all brands should strive to garner from their collaborations with influencers/celebs.

It is great to see the right importance is being levied on the power of digital media for communicating important messages to large population groups and to help brands and organizations reach their goals.
